It's complicated

There this idea that;
Noone should be killed because
of ideological differences
The morally weak choose violence, they say

Except of course if you look like me
Bronze skin, afro, you get the picture

When a thouseand and another thousand and more and many
more are killed because of their idea of political freedom
and total liberation is in opposition to those who
otherwise, feel entitled to a place

In the latter case we say "it's complicated"

This way, has no destination rooted in wisdom, justice
or love.

People (all of us) are created
By a magnificent divinity that we intrinsically hold.

Shame on us for invoking a gods name to justify the
killing of some while praying to that same god
because someone else was more human, deserving of
more grief.
